Good game by Newcastle.

Tigers play an exciting brand of football don't they? Great stuff.

No, optional kick.

Optional restart you dipstick, when has it ever been called an optional kick

optional restart.

It's an optional kick.

When awarded a penalty, the team gets a kick - their option is to tap kick, place kick, drop kick or punt kick it.

An optional restart is the same, but only to restart the game. Three types of restarts exist in the laws - restart from half way, restart from the goal line, and restart from the 20m line.

Optional restart does not apply to half way or goal line, they must be taken as a place kick and drop kick respectively. A 20m restart has two variations - a 20m drop kick - where a penalty kick (optional kick) goes dead / touch in goal; or a 20m optional kick - where the team my tap, place, punt or drop kick to restart play.

I don't think I've ever been angrier after a game

What an absolutely piss poor, weak and soft performance from a bunch of prima donnas who need to be told to harden the f**k up

Nothing will change with this team, they are mentally weak and its the reason we bombed out of the finals last year.mevery off season we read about how much it hurt etc bullshit bullshit

That was the worst pea hearted defence I have seen in years. Cashmere should be dropped for the rest of the year, reddy is a f**king genius and benji needs to harden up and use his f**king shoulder in defence

Heighington is shit and should be pissed off to England, he can take the f**king coach with him too

We're just making up e numbers this year. We'll get into 5th-8th and bow out first or second week.

Absolutely disgusting

One thing I am wondering though is why Buderus wasn't binned?

Ryan was rightfully sin binned mid way through the second half. Yet Buderus comes from a way way offside position to stop a certain try 1m out from the line...that's the definition of a sin bin. 14-0 up against 12 men for 10 minutes, not even we would have fcked that up.

Probably because no Tigers players waved their hands in the referees face demanding it?

I agree with you. Textbook professional foul, potentially penalty try.

Wow, how'd we do that?

Hope this comes across as I mean it to (and that's not to be a merkin) but does anyone else have a feeling the death of Sonia Farah might derail the Tigers season?

Hopefully not because the Tigers (when they're on) are a pretty exciting team to watch.

Also, being in the top 8 is not such a magnificent achievement this year, when you look at how bad the bottom of the ladder teams are.

It's an interesting question but Farah seemed entirely capable of putting in since he was our best on ground by far. I'm honestly surprised at the rest of the Tigers performance in light of that. Seeing this bloke having such a massive dig should have fired them up something fierce.

Makes me think that the Tigers just aren't that good tbh.

We are not very good.

I mean FFS, no team with Blake Ayshford in the halves is going anywhere.

So many shit players in this team, Reddy, Cashmere, Heighington, Iosefa. Yet they'll all be there next game.

Honestly I laughed my arse off from the minute Cashmere spazzed out and gave away the penalty because it is what we do best against really poor quality sides form not paper) we let Parra back in, we made the Roosters look good etc.

It is just the pattern we follow.

Yes we miss Fulton & Ellis and Reddy is still just as bad as ever but if you dont laugh you would lose your shit following the Sheenius
