Souths played poorly overall last week and also butchered 3 tries that would have set them up for a good win.Cannot see them playing that bad again this week .
A fitting time to smash a Storm hoodoo on friday 13th .
100% Souths will win!!

Good game to kick off the finals. Melbourne have been coasting; waiting for this moment.

I flew to Sydney last Thursday, stayed at star casino, watched payton manning flog the Baltimore ravens, went to the game charged up, came home feeling like I have since 1989. nothing but doubts here!

I have to say I'm getting really f**king sick of all this "my team is going to lose, the opposition is too good" bullshit that's been going on recently.

FFS there must be a few fans out there willing to back their bloody team!

I'll back them.

I honestly think it's our time to get the Storm. They were awful against the Eagles and pretty bad against the Titans as well.

We weren't great against the Roosters but still could have won the game if Dylan Walker had decided to put the ball down instead of throwing it over the dead ball.

Maguire will have been all over them all week, GI will want to up his involvement, Reyno and Sutts can't play as badly again as they did on Friday. I think we'll come out fired up and get them.

Souths by 8.

I reckon we're a good chance. A better chance than we were the first 2 times we played them anyway

I think the first 20 minutes will decide this game. Every time we've played them recently we've given them starts. If we can lead after 20 or 30 minutes we're definitely capable of going on with it.

Head to head we're $1.85 which surprises me. Melbourne $2.00

that shocks me too. I'm willing to back us (mentally, I never bet on my own team) but it's strange that we're favoured. That should blow out during the week.

I almost forget Inglis had left the Storm when reading through their team.

It's a very evenly matched game.

I'm actually really looking forward to this match, think it'll be real high quality.
I do think Melb will be too classy in the end and will get a late try to win the match.

No point in us even showing up then if Paul Kent thinks the Rabbits are the surest of things in week 1. He's never wrong when it comes to all things RL.....
