No one is listening to me but the Storm have not been that great for the last month...make what you will of it.
They should, you know your footy. You blokes are still in this up to your eyeballs. you played gash and were still a chance with 5 to go. As i said your boys will blow out to silly odds time to load up.

I think Slater and Smith were terrific for Storm tonight. A lot of opportunities were created but hardly anyone backed them up. Too many times there was either Hinchcliffe or Hoffman inside the centre and they killed any momentum. Not fast enough to get the ball away and Souths players were in their face.

Gives myself some belief if we beat the Dogs on Sunday but as I said, can't see Storm losing twice in the finals back to back.

i agree and i thought we were very sloppy in patches tonight...lost of errors particularly in the first half...

still doesn't change the fact we were f**k in the arse by hayne and his mates

Thanks mate...I know the club well and even when they spanked the Eels and won in ET against the Titans both of those games showed no real structure and IMO the forward pack is too small to compete...look at tonight, Hinchcliffe tried hard but was smashed by Lima and co as was Proctor and Norrie.

I just think that Storm need to change their game plan...play it fast and outside of the middle of park to give the likes of hoffman to hit gaps. Probably easier said than done in a finals game.

A mate asked me at the 60 min mark how we were going and I said "sloppy"...probably just a luck guess but it seems to be the word of the night. Lol.

Good game Melbourne. Definitely a couple of tough calls for you guys but I think we were definitely the better team on the night. The first time I can remember Slater didn't piss the hell out of me for destroying us.

Absolutely stoked and I think we'll be seeing the red and green in the grand final! Looking forward to watching these next few games nice and relaxed knowing we don't have to play next week.

Awesome game, sloppy refereeing, and I think we'll be seeing a Souths/Storm grand final.

I wasn't confident but man I'm impressed. Our defense was outstanding. The Waqa no try I thought was a fair call I thought. The last angle showed him wriggling which was a dead set giveaway. I wasn't sure which way it'd go until you could see him wriggling still trying to get it down. He gave it away. Second try, well we had one like that taken off us last week when they ruled Farrell wasent going for the ball and nudged RTS so I thought they'd say no try which was confirmed. To say it was a fair contest would assume he was looking at the ball but he didn't and his hands weren't even reaching for it.
I can understand these would upset Storm fans but both were called the same way they have earlier in the season. Mind you they got a penalty where Inglis was taken out which previously has been called a penalty so it goes both ways.
Anyway very proud of the boys effort tonight, hope Waqa is ok he fell awkwardly and noone ever wants to see something like that. Thanks for a great game Storm.

Storm by 20. Finals experience key here and Storm as per usual will hit form when it truly matters. Don't rate Souths at all and will be very lucky to be playing Knights/Bulldogs in week 2 otherwise they'll be gone in straight sets.

No more sneaky rectal stimulations with very long broomsticks for you kind sir!!

I respect the Storm fans who haven't whinged about conspiracies.

They'll be there two weeks from now playing for a spot in the GF just like us.

We were the better team and deserved to win. Looking forward to seeing our potential opponents beat each other up this week and next week.

Yep.

Storm won't lose to the Dogs or Knights. They'll be there in 2 weeks but hopefully with a few guys doing it tough. I'm just glad we don't have to face them in the prelim

The better team won.

South held out to a shit tonne of pressure in the first half and ended up capitalising.

Waqa's no-try I can cop as it was ruled no try on the field. Slater's was a try all ends up - Chambers had eyes only for the ball until Goodwin took him out - terrible call.

Rabbit's were very strong up the middle and that's where they won it. Hard to see the Storm losing next week though.

Just got home and read through this thread. Fantastic as always.

Happy birthday to me, and great win for Souths. EAD haters.
