Ftr, I only bothered to watch this pointless exhibition of nswrl politics because I am starved of Sunday football.

I'd love to see it gone

I think I saw the city FB limp off, wasn't paying enough attention.

May have been nothing more than a cramp, may have been more. Dunno

Didn't see anything else other than dropped ball and another 7 years of putting up with qld f**kwits

Tedesco copped a hip injury. Not too serious apparently. Better bloody not be. He's my Supercoach fullback.

I was there. Crowd was crap..

Yeah only 4500 I heard. What have crowds been like for trial games in Coffs Harbour is recent years?

Last year they got 10,000 in Mudgee if I remember right.

The bush keep saying they're starved of top level footy and this game is about taking it to the bush, which is why you wont see it in Newcastle or Wollongong or Gosford.

Heard whisper suggesting that next year's game will be in Broken Hill.

So what are the reasons for the horrendous crowd figure today and what needs to be done by the ARLC to help league in the country areas? Were ticket prices reasonable?

... and who sets those prices? Frankly they are ludicrous. Someone needs an arse kicking over that.

The Country Rugby League has been the worst thing for country rugby league over a long period of time. Bunch of merkins.

Was the formation of the ARLC not the end of the hangers ons like the CRL, NSWRL, QRL, ARL and so on?? Those ticket prices are a disgrace and is further evidence that no one gives a shit about this game so why is it still on the calendar? Was it the CRL that set the ticket prices? Can this be confirmed? I heard Phil Gould gave the people of Coffs the thumbs down.

If its played at Broken Hill expect a crowd of 12.

Coffs Harbour Council. They own the ground and paid for the game. You could blame them, but that doesn't fit the agenda.

So the ARLC has no input into the ticket pricing? The Coffs Council could have charged $80 a head if they wanted to and no one from the ARLC, CRL etc would have said a word?

Looks as though your wrong on this one East CT. Coffs Council is saying the NRL set the ticket prices.

Email them yourself:coffs.council@chcc.nsw.gov.au

No I'm not. Email the NRL and ask them. Or the CRL. The council is as responsible for the prices as the governing bodies. Just as Stadiums Qld is responsible for the ticket prices up there, the SCG Trust is repsonsible for ticket prices at the SFS, Parramatta Stadium Trust is at Parra, etc, etc. The clubs might set the prices but only because they have to re-coup costs relating to the stadium owners.

Only passing on the info I received from the Coffs Harbour Council. They have written that the NRL set the ticket prices and given a contact at the NRL - Peter Semos - to direct further queries to.
