It's finally over. Thank f**k.

Worst game not just this year, but in many, many years.

Well that was a disgraceful game... Here's hoping Melbourne give us a nice, hearty lol@souffs to make up for it ;)

Quite possibly the worst game I've ever seen. The only good thing to come out of this game is Penrith minimised the damage to keep Canterbury in last spot.

That definitely goes close to the worst game i have ever seen. Has anyone ever heard a quieter crowd? There was 15K people there.

I was at the game, it was actually very loud despite the game's shitness. No idea if that came over the coverage though.

Horrendous game to sit through. Haven't seen Newcastle play that badly in a long, long time. I can't believe Penrith still lost with all the field position they had. Not sure if the Knights' defense has improved significantly or Penrith really are that shit. A bit of both maybe.

Oh well, two points is two points. Buderus can't come back fast enough.

Well hopefully that game proves Walsh offers nothing to our coaching staff. Throw Austin in and we win that game. Walsh had everything going his way and once again had nothing to offer to our scoreboard.

Was at the game and at times, it was rather dead. We're not as vocal at home as we were last year. As for the game itself, from my seat, it just seemed we had no attack. Not necessarily constant mistakes, but just not the attack we have shown at home in the past few games. Really thought Jimmy's opener was going to lead to an onslaught of points or at least a few more to give us a solid lead.

That said, get Leilua out of there. Absolutely shit performance and McKinnon would have been better. Why Bennett has Costigan as Gidley's, who should be able to play a full 80, replacement? He's garbage. Hopefully Tahu gets back into form, Bedsey returns quickly and Dane recovers well because once we're at full strength, then I'm confident we can go back to the football we were playing at home. Away is another story....

What?

For starters Costigan didn't play...

Secondly, I thought Leilua was great in the limited opportunities he had. Had some really good defence (especially when it was needed), and showed he can throw a pass under pressure which is more than I can say for McKinnon. I rate McKinnon very highly but not at centre. I don't know if BJ will stay in the side when Gagai returns (I say Tahu will keep his spot), but he's a much better replacement than McKinnon. Our attacking problems tonight had nothing to do with Leilua...

What an amazing game.

As if the game wasn't making me drowsy enough already, I almost fell asleep after they stopped play for an injured player off the field.

Don't know what everyone's talking about. Great game played by two top-notch teams. Great attack negated by great defence.

And then I woke up.

I think the question, skeepey boy, is that if the game really was that shit (which it was), why did you continue to watch it when it wasn't your team?
