I don't know about that. The majority of our forward pack is used to playing 60-80mins week to week. With the rotation they had, most got a good 50mins playing time, which probably helped us a lot with consistency on the field. We have a limited amount of interchanges that we can use, and thus there can only be so many minutes that can go around.

To be honest, we looked tired towards the end, Queensland started getting much more of a roll through the middle and Queensland were find way more spaces.

Congrats NSW. Must say very confident for next game. Qld play for 20mins and lose by one try, but see what happens.

Toss up between Jennings or Lewis MOM, but I'll take Lewis

I would say they only lost by one try because NSW didn't execute, they were played out of it through the forwards for the other 60 minutes.

They have used utilities off the bench before. You need that cover in the halves, and I am sure that they will have DCE on the bench next game, they could have used him tonight to replace Thurston.

Queensland have put players on the bench whose form demands they be there, those players have also been there to prepare them for future roles. Cronk was on the bench preparing him to take over in the halves once Lockyer retired. Reynolds isn't there for any of these reasons. He is there for the sake of having a utility... A utility which didn't even get used

IMO you don't need a utility like Reynolds.

He was the wrong call from Daley.

Personally I'd prefer grant in there , but Sutton would have played minutes tonight and taken pressure off the other forwards.

The bench has to have cover for hooker. Imagine if Farah went down early and there was no one who could slot in at 9.

The selectors got it right tonight IMO, even if Reynolds wasn't required.

Do you think Sutton would have been used? Really? He too would have watched from the bench ala Buher.
