With 20 minutes to go and some of the Brisbane players look tired. Not sure if its the Origin toll or what

Here's a fun game for Broncos fans:

Imagine if Maranta was the Storm's right winger instead of Waqa in that situation.

How do you think he would have bombed that try?

I'd say he either puts a foot on the line or he runs straight at the fullback and is held up.

Its the effect of getting a combined 26 seconds out of the bench forwards. And the Origin thing.

Gilbert knows f**k all, but he sounds better than hadley

How gilbert ever got to commentate an NRL game is beyond me. He is the most boring and least knowledgable caster you will ever see. He obviously is close friends with someone in there.

Brisbane have now won just 11 of their last 33 games. That is pretty awful, never thought they'd even be this poor given how good they were for so long.

They dont seem to have had balance in their side for some time, first it shifted toward too back heavy when they let Petero go and had Lockyer/Hunt/Folau/Hodges all together, since then it's gone back the other way having neglected the backs and seemingly locked up a heap of backrowers/average forwards.

Maybe this will end up a good year for them from the perspective that a few young players get a bit of gametime, but they have some problems, and that purchase of Prince was a real desperation one. I'd imagine they'll be fine eventually, too well run a club to not be, but it also doesnt look like something they're going to turn around in twelve months either, could be a couple of years of mediocrity before they're back and challenging.

We may actually win that game with a decent winger. Which seems like a really stupid thing to say when you lose by over 30.

They have arguably the worst spine in the comp imo. If they fix that they'll be right up there again with that pack
