I can't help but think Dragons could possibly be closing these sorts of games out if they had kept Soward and moved Fien from the halves. He certainly would have offered a better kicking game then Fien tonight.

I think if Soward was our halfback we'd have a lot more to offer with the ball and with our general kicking.

Back to the game, I don't know why I held any hopes for a win. Very frustrated to see the usual dumb plays and soft defence and our ladder position is justified by that.

I think it's fair to say that we were and are missing a lot of players from our backline also.
At full strength we still lose, but to say we'd get thumped by some of the scores being thrown around us a bit silly.
