Souths might go on a losing run till finals time but when GI is back they will still be lethal.

They need better wingers though.

We've been the better team for large stretches of this game. Just haven't converted. I still think next scorer wins. If we get within 1 try with more than 5 minutes left, we'll have all the momentum.

You can't point to touch and then take a tap. Should have been called back and told to kick.

It depends on what he was saying, he might have been saying 'we'll take the tap' while pointing to the sideline. If that was the case than it is play on.
Happens all the time in local footy.

I 'think' technically you can (and I'm not saying I'm right at all - never thought about it until now). If I'm correct, you must only inform the referee verbally? Unless they changed the rules after the 80s and 90s? Guys used to bluff the opposition all the time. They'd say "we'll take the tap" whilst pointing at the uprights.

Mind you if it is the rule it should be changed.
