Newcastle, Mullen especially, seem to love playing up in Townsville so I expect this to be a high quality attacking match given the form of both sides. If it gets down to a grind, I think the Knights will have too much toughness for the Cowboys but any side with JT cannot be underestimated.

Knights by 8

may have got the result on sat but the completion rate was horrendous. Still on a roll though and back us by 2

Play like we have the last 6 or so weeks and we'll win. Pretty simple really.

Lots of hope around for the Cowboys to make the 8.

But watch out the mighty Knights are in town.

... Cowboys by 6.

What is the Knights record like in Townsville since the JT era? For some reason, I have the impression it isn't any good.

I went Cowboys.

Newcastle are 3/6 there since 2006. No idea what number of games Thurston has played in. Their overall record is 6/13, so hardly poor.

It's pretty down the middle between the two teams since JT started there. Mullen has a tendancy to fire against the Cowboys... which probably takes the JT factor out of it a bit.

Whichever team wants it more will win today. Nth QLD isn't really a hoodoo away match for us.

Aye, just a wrong impression.

For some reason, the 2009 game just really sticks out in my mind.

I got a big multi here riding on a Knights win to be alive for the last leg tomorrow.
Tigers/Warriors/Knights/Manly. Come on. $3800 collect for 200$
