Parra one week, Tigers the next.
These dumb merkins sure know how to pick a footy game that will rate.

Well the WT V Rabbits will rate it's arse off in Sydney. Without question.

The Donkeys match will rate whatever it normally pulls in in Derpland

At the risk of hijacking the thread, do you think it will rate as high as Manly v Melbourne would have?
A top 4 battle compared to 2 v 13. Tigers have nothing to play for and the only player that would have got neutrals watching (Brooks) isn't playing.

Absolutely.

Rabbitohs bandwagon is huge and it will be Marshall's last Sydney game and his 200th, Lote's 150th and the night Farah breaks the club record for games played. Manly V Melbourne does not rate liek you might hope. It would most likely be a better game but that doesn't always mean better ratings.

Likely be a small draw in terms of crowd but TV audience should be great

Danger game. Benchy's last home game, 200th match, return of Farah, riding a high off last week. Would be worried if Luke Brooks was playing. I think we will get it, but it won't be a thrashing like earlier in the season

Manly - a team with little public appeal and one of the smaller fanbases in Sydney (based on average home crowds anyway).

Melbourne - a team with little public appeal, and tucked away in Melbourne where the key audience will need to flick to GEM to actually watch the game.

Compare this with Souths who will rate their arse of regardless given they're top two and the Tigers, who have far too many fans in western sydney who are suckers for punishment.

Even allowing for disenfranchised fans, more people will tune in to see WST v SOU. Fact.

Timmah pretty much sums it up. Souths would have the 1st or 2nd (them or saints) most fans in Sydney whilst the tigers would be 3rd-5th (with dogs and eels)

The hardcore neutral fan would much rather watch storm v eagles and no doubt it will be a closer and higher quality game, but wests v souths will always outrate it.

It's taken all year but we have finally named what is our strongest team IMO. Knock on wood we can keep it there until the GF

I reckon our best team would be as above but with Champion at Centre and Walker or Goodwin on the Wing. Drop Farrell.

Hopeully benji goes to the centers, sironen to 7 and bodene back in the forwards. Even though I give us no chance that's a better balance IMO
