The tigers made a 50m break on the second tackle. The player is tackled then the second defender rips the ball off the attacker after the tackle is completed and the souths defensive line is a rubble....in what world is that not a sin bin?!

This. Perenara is an out and out cheat.

You get me wrong - I wasn't saying Henry was cheating, I was saying how nice it was to see a referee give Souths a helping hand after years of the refs shafting them at every opportunity.

Sheesh. Say something nice and everyone grabs the wrong end of the stick.

Sarasassypants, at least my comments have substance, and mean something , you on the other hand are irrelevant. Do you honestly think anyone cares what you think ? The answer is NO

The fact that you are happy to win a match 32-18, trailing 18-0, with a huge flow of penalties going souths way......indicates exactly whst I've said is true, your knowledge of league is garbage, and you really are irrelevant.
You have become so used to mediocrity, that any win will do. You're pathetic, you really are.

Leaving the penalties aside - lets look at Souths performance

They conceded points early through a combination of the Tigers making some great line breaks (the first two tries) and a dropped ball that could have gone anywhere.

After that though Souths worked out they were in a game and adjusted their attitude and approach to the opposition.

The result? A 32 nil scoreline. Had Easts done that you would be crowing and carrying on like we had already won the Premiership. Sara says something positive about the way her team responded to adversity and suddenly she's a know nothing so used to mediocrity that she'll accept anything? Pull your f**king head in.

Penalties aside, the Tigers barely bothered Souths for the rest of that game and by half time the result was already a foregone conclusion. Souths were strong right across the park and they only got stronger as the game went on.

To say that the Tigers inability to score another point was down to refereeing completely misses the point of just how professional Souths were in their application.

The referees didn't defend Souths line and they didn't find gaps in the Tigers defence. Sure Souths got the flow of possession - but its what they did with the possession that matters.

Abusing someone on a forum isn't going to change that.

That attitude and approach should have been there from the outset. Souths fans should be feeling somewhat uncomfortable at the prospect of another slow start next week pretty much guaranteeing them a face off with Melbourne the following week.

If the roosters, manly or Melbourne get an even penalty count, and split the 50/50 calls against Souths, then all 3 teams have Souths covered.

The south Sydney rugby league club are the epitome of losing. Can you imagine if you were born in 1972, you could be a father of 3-4 children. Your entire family have never seen a successful Souths team. You would have to rely on historical books, or your grandparents to tell you of their once glory days.

The 1970's, after 72, was a dreadful decade.
The 1980's, another inept 10 years, 2-3 finals appearance
The 1990's, without doubt the worst australian sporting team of the decade. Absolute rubbish
The 2000's, refer to the 1990's
Can almost hear South's 21st premiership champagne glasses frothing.

Oh wait.... it was only you.

What else can you say I suppose.

If it makes you sleep better at night, they go for it. The problem is, when you wake up, you will realise what a pea brain comment you just made.

What part of no premierships since 1971, one semi final win in 25 years, multiple spoons.....don't you understand ?

Are you that stupid ?

I love how it is now the Souths haters that are constantly talking about the past.. Let it go man! We're 1st on the ladder and, at worst, the 2nd best side in the comp.

Fair enough, you didn't call him a cheat and I didn't think I said as much but there was no offence intended. I do (call him a cheat) and I stand by that. It happened to Manly 2 weeks ago. His view is far from balanced and he shouldn't ref any more Souths games. Of course they wont recognise that but it needs to happen.
