One of the worst team performances Ive seen, especially when so call "talent" is factored into it.

No more BS talk about being Grand Final chances from now on is the only good thing to take from this.

We always play terrible against the knights. I don't know what it is but it's like we just never show up, ever. On the other side to that, the knights always play their grand final against us, everything they touch turns to gold and Mullen ends up playing like Wally Lewis.

I'm not sure why I expected any differently this time

Geez scott moore has been a big disappointment for the cows. Offers nothing in offense and questionable in defense. Changes needed there.

Hunter Stadium on a Monday night turns teams into spastics. That's all I can figure from this. Either that or the Knights are awesome entirely in a vacuum filled with Monday and Hunter Stadium.

Given that the only other match we've played this year has been against a fired-up Manly at Brookvale... it's hard to say what we're like outside of those conditions, really. I'm getting the feeling we might be tough to beat at home this year.

It's dead set the same as us against Manly. We get our arses flogged at that venue so thoroughly and hard every single year. It has little bearing on the rest of your season. The Cowboys will be there or there abouts come business end of the season. It's good to get these bogey games out of the way early.

We beat them both times last year including a 20 point win at Hunter.

We are struggling there is no doubt, we have conceded 66 points for 16 for in the last 2 weeks.

The Broncos are losing, but putting in when then lose, we are just gutless and with no purpose or direction.

If I had any doubts that we could be a genuine contender this year after last weeks performance, then those were removed tonight. Cowboys were awful, but we performed phenomenally.

newi at their best can beat any side. they have played some real impressive games now & again the last few years but need to be more consistent. especially mullin needs to play ike this a lot more often & roberts is a good player should be left in the halves.

maybe move gidley to dummy half centre or even lock?

We've still got little idea on how good the Knights really are this year...

If I had any doubts that we could be a genuine contender this year after last weeks performance, then those were removed tonight. Cowboys were awful, but we performed phenomenally.

Definitely a stronger performance than our effort against Wests. We were defensively sound, held our line even as the clock wound down, and looked slick despite missing what I would consider key players.

They need to find a role for Gidley that leaves Roberts in the halves. Hooker for 30min a game + some time doing whatever costigan does.

Snowden was poor tonight (picked it up once the knights were on top) so will be lucky to hold a spot over Rochow/Cuthbo/Fa'alongo once Mason returns. Sims also quite good on Debut, got a few up on his older brother.

Cuthbertson really picking up from where he left off at the end of last year, 19 runs for 187m. And Rochow has looked very good early this season.

Spot on fella. Halves were great tonight and no hospital passes. Gidley should never play half when Roberts is available. Bedsy and Costigan looked pedestrian at dummy half while Boyd's service was quick. Gidley to dummy half for mine.
