We... won?

I know Cowboys were pretty bad but jeez we were so much better than last week. It seems like we have some mental issues still - we hit back by getting on the board and our confidence skyrockets, we f**k up chances while trying to hit back (see early in the Manly game) and we lose the f**king plot.

Hunter stadium, aka, the fortress... :sarcasm:

... and I suppose we write off the Cowboys because they've been shocking tonight? Just trying to get a feel for where your logic begins and your preconceptions end.

There's not really any point having conversations on this forum is there.

After three rounds the Knights have shown enough to suggest they will beat every team that doesn't show up to play against them and get pumped if the side looks like they give a toss.

This is why I just can't take the Cowgirls seriously. At their best, they are devastating, but especially away from home they often don't turn up.

Not really, yet here we are. I'm just interested to know where you think the Cowboys stand after losing to the Storm, and then getting trounced in a largely insipid performance against us? In the context of your statements regarding my own team, it's a pretty fair question, really. I want to know what you base your opinion on.

Based on the fact that it's round 3 and everything is conjecture I hereby write off the Cowboys because they, as usual, show they can't win away from home.

Well, I'm glad you acknowledge that everything at this stage is conjecture. :)

We did beat last years grand finalists away. People often tend to ignore the games we win away as it gets in the way of their "cowboys can't win away from home" argument.

But I'm not going to get into that, we deserve to cop shit over that effort. I just hope it serves as a wake up call for the players.

As soon as Gidley wasn't there- money on the Knights. Easiest money ever, honestly every team in the comp would hope that Gidley remains at half as he is useless. Great win...know Bennett might keep Roberts there...amazing having 2 creative halves rather than 1 and Gidley who is usually the oppositions best player!

True, but they were also without Barba.
