Absolutely. He's not far removed from being the best forward in the game. If he's not yet on Gallen and Burgess' level then he isn't far behind; and if he is, it won't be for much longer.

Merrin would have to be the 3rd player picked for NSW atm, behind only Gallen and Farah.
