Hard to make a judgement call on the Broncs but they seem well established in the second tier of teams. Hodges was out so I don't want to call it too early but it appears the Broncs lack the extra gear. The Bunnies were ripe for the picking tonight, they didn't play well in the first half and although they came out firing in the second half a team like the Storm or Manly would have made them pay for all the errors.

Not often would you say the Broncos get outclassed up the middle, but it happened tonight even taking into account the fact Sam Burgess, Asotasi and a few others were below their best.

This year we've already won in Auckland, Brookvale and Brisbane. Tremendous effort. Getting some home games now will be fantastic.

Nailed it typicalfan.

I don't believe Hodges would have made a difference tonight. Souths were just far more consistent and stringent in the pack for Justin to matter. The scary aspect as a Broncos supporter is that the scoreline truly flattered us. Souths could have easily racked up 50 but Souths just couldn't execute their plays properly.

In saying that, I'm not too disappointed as a fan. From the outset, I knew 2013 was going to be a difficult season and at best we may find a place in the Top 8. As is, I'm happy the boys are showing some genuine ticker and did everything they could to keep Souths to 26.

Just hope they can step up next week and across the Origin season. This is where I believe we'll improve on last year but it's difficult to be sure.

Can't go, not won't go. And SSFC doesn't revolve around me. It'll be good for the club onfield and offield. Onfield the support of 20/25/30k fans each week will help them keep winning in the origin period. Offield the bumper crowds we should get will do good things for us financially.
