Teams go up and down. We've had a pretty consistent run since 2004. The Dogs were one of the worst spooners of all time in 2008 and the next year they were in the finals. Although we don't have the finances to attract good players we have a strong junior system.

And their losses were to Storm (who we almost beat), Manly, Roosters, Souths and Cowboys when JT was on song. All whilst missing Barba, Pritchard, Graham and Kasiano. You can't read anything into the start of the year. Knights in a fortnight will be a good benchmark for where they are at

Against a tigers side that is plagued with injuries and playing hit any team would look 500% better than previous poor form. Like I said wait till you come up against a better side. Knights will be a good test in a couple rounds. Warriors and dogs games are usually tough but in expecting knights to be dogs first real test
