What can you do, the tigers aren't a top 8 team at full strength...missing 10 of the top 25..well this is always going to eventuate....

There hasn't been a game this year where they haven't put in and that's all you can ask

Bulldogs will be in the 8 in September. And wow if anyone at the Tigers thinks it would be a good idea to pay Benji a million a year for another half decade.

I know he was injured tonight, but the problem is that wasn't a one off

We have a heap of depth in the halves. Miller, sironen, Luke brooks and Mitch moses have all been junior kangaroos and dominant in every age group they've played. None may be as good as benji in his prime but we could probably keep all 4 for his one pay packet and then go buy 3 or 4 good first graders to spread the team out.

Thanks for the memories benji, go play union in France/Japan for as long as you want.

Whose idea was it to play Bodene Thompson in the centres? Sheenius stuff right there. Him and Koroibete were getting manhandled tonight

On song benji is worth it to side like tigers just like sandow is worth it to eels.

It doesn't help when he is originally ruled out for a couple months and comes back early. Obviously not fully fit

On song. How often is that?

He hasn't had a good game against quality opposition for years.

It's going to be hilarious if the rumours are true and they do re-sign him on Inglis/Thurston money.

Bulldogs were okay, but still need improvement. They will get there though. Leaves an open-question that if the dogs put 40 on them, what would have the bunnies or storm put on them? Is benji seriously worth all that money? you barely even noticed him on the field yesterday.

Still have a question mark over Barba, he was trying...but mentally didn't look like he was in the match.

About time after having to face the top 4 in the opening 6 weeks. Almost beat Storm, almost beat Rabbitohs, almost beat Cowboys. That was without 3 or 4 star players and everyone started talking shit about rumours, players hitting other players wives and all of this complete and utter bullshit just because the team was loosing. Good to turn the corner now.

Still work to do. Need to improve the penalty count but it doesn't help when you're the most hated side in the competition as far as the referees are concerned. They'll penalise us for farting too loudly. I blame Mick Ennis and his -in-your-face attitude and complaining to the referees.

Good to finally have a half-back as well, instead of Keating. Finally we have some structure, attacking plays and a really solid kick-chase. Hok's defence was outstanding last night.

He hasn't been on song in 2 years. And the older he gets the less likely he is to ever get back there. He's declined now, and they want to pay him a million a year well into his 30s.

They won't win a premiership while he's still a key part of their team.

Teams go up and down. We've had a pretty consistent run since 2004. The Dogs were one of the worst spooners of all time in 2008 and the next year they were in the finals. Although we don't have the finances to attract good players we have a strong junior system.
One of the worst wooden spooners of all time?

We weren't even alone in last, the Cowboys were on the same points. I've seen far, far worse :?

I do take your point about the rise and fall, happens far more often to most clubs these days.
Dogs fans can get excited all they like but if they end up not going as good as they're talking it up its going to be hilarious.
Oh FFS, fans are entitled to be happy about seeing their side play good footy and win a game, regardless of opposition.

One thing I will point out is that if the Bulldogs win their next two - they'll be 5-5 from the first ten.

The same win-loss record as when we won the minor premiership last season ;-)
