I don't think it'll be the absolute shellacking many are predicting. Defensively the Kiwis are still pretty strong as they have been over the past couple of years.

NZ's only chance is if their forwards match it with Australia. The packs are fairly equal, minus Cameron Smith. It's Australia's backline that completely outshines the Kiwis.

I think SKD has been pretty piss poor this year in a Roosters side performing well. Big chance GI could smoke him tonight.

Mannering out Tohu Harris to come in. Foran to captain.

Really? We'll get slaughtered. :(

Jeremy Smith was a pretty big loss for us in the middle of the park, he always ramps it up a level in test matches and now losing your captain and a backrower that would've stepped up in Smith's absence, means Australia will dominate IMO. Especially considering the class of Smith, Cronk, Thurston etc...

If we can hold onto the ball and make some meters and provide a decent kicking game/5th tackle option we'd have a chance to keep it close, but seeing as our halves are pretty new and the squad is pretty young and missing crucial experienced players - I can't see anything other than Australia by 30 points.

The body-language from Kearney's prematch talk to the team didn't look to inspiring, it's like he was saying, if you get within 30, its all good lads

with the players he has out, id say his mission is to blood some new players ahead of the world cup come end of the year.

lets be real here, if NZ win at odds of 7.50 itll be one of the greatest, if not the greatest upset in rugby league history.
