I do wish people would stop saying this, I have never once in 31 years played Rugby League on paper

I have. We invented a paper Rugby League game in primary school. It was called 'Flick Footy'. Good fun :lol:

Anyway.

France and Wales need new coaches, and a bit of x-factor in their playing ranks. Utterly insipid, negative, boring attack. Even a bomb-and-hope approach would be many times more fruitful than the dross they've served up.

You can't start to play after seventy five minutes and expect to win. If Wales had somehow managed to win it would have been a travesty. The best team won.

The only reason in the modern game that teams that are getting pumped flash home and fans think they could have played that way all game is the other team has clocked off. The point is the other team when they were on didnt let them play that way.

NZ v Samoa was a case in point. If NZ had maintained the rage ( which they didnt need to do ) it would have been 60.

A lot of people has been saying the same comments about the USA and how its full or Aussies and Kiwis.

I understand his point, but a lot of those players were actually born the USA. Compared to other countries who have very little players who were born in their country.

Plus they only have themselves to blame losing to the USA.

It was an exaggeration. They almost do. Three or four non Aussies in Italy.
