A bit disappointed that Johnson scored to win, he was his usual passenger self all game, rubbish kicking game and typically non-existent in defence.
Now he's gonna feel validated, be stuck at the Warriors for years and they'll remain shit.

also his last kick to the middle of the field. with 2 minutes to go he should have aimed for the sideline to force a scrum and kill 15 seconds or so.

hell of a game.

Exactly. Once he got ball on the 5th tackle I thought that was game. But then......

I have been to most international matches since 2007 (although not the 2008 World Cup, nor 2010 4 Nations) and I must say that is without doubt the best match I have ever witnessed!!

Wembley was ELECTRIC! Absolutely electric! The noise that was made when we scored!! The utter silence when NZ scored... You just had to be there!

The sport has made a lot of new fans today. That despite Fiji being utter crap.

We were even trending top throughout the UK today and even English Rugby Union players have tweeted how amazing the match was.

I am so gutted for you guys that England are not in the Final. To go through all that again at Manchester would have been unbeatable!!

I remember the last match at Wembley was the 2011 Four Nations against Australia I think? Man the RFL have come a long way since then!! People from France, full of Southerners, us Welsh fans, the yellow hatted Roo Crew - brilliant!!

Can't believe it's going to be 2015 until we see a big England match again :(

My god I hope New Zealand win the Final though!! New Zealand will have 95% of the crowd behind them!!

Huge congratulations to the entire England rugby league team for the semi final display this afternoon. Absolutely inspirational.

He's just so in awe because he realises now that he would be dead and buried if he had to spend 80 minutes on the same pitch as the Kiwis :crazy::lol:

So did Foran, and Luke....the majority of the Kiwi team played their worst game of the World Cup - but we still won...and got that monkey off our back for beating England in England....Johnson took the line on his on with the world cup in his hands and he nailed it.....same with the kick....if i recall he missed a kick similar to this against the Roosters in the NRL at Eden Park to take the game into extra time...

Better luck in four years England :D

theres likelu gonna be a GB TOUR to oz in 2015...so its gonna be the 2016 4nations held here before we see england here again...which is stupid cos i feel everyone has finally started getting behind england...today was the loudest ive ever heard england chants.

Pretty sure there won't be a 4Nations involving Australia in the year before the world cup. Unless something has changed...

Why no 4nations that year in the Northern hemisphere?

Cummins is an arse bandit.

Dude, you need to stop trying to hide your blatant homosexuality by using these anti-gay slurs. It is not PC. But if Cummins really is a gay homosexual, and you want to thank him for helping the Kiwis over the line, then offer to slobber on his knob. But be sure he is homosexual, otherwise it could be awkward.

One of the best games I've seen. I actually feel sorry for England cos I thought they were the better team overall. Unfortunately England had no idea how to close out the game. If the final is even half as good we're in for a cracker

Absolutely incredible game. Heartbreaking end for England, you poor poms.

Great advert for the game. Great and vocal crowd, fast paced, intense game, live on BBC. Brilliant!

Hopefully that helps build the profile of Rugby League over there.

the tv deal for the 2014 (down under)& 2016 (up here) 4nations has already been signed.

theres always next year....and the year after.....and the year after lol

As mentioned before, the poms missed a beat when they didn't select chris bailey, Brett Delaney etc. Id also heard that George carmont was waiting next to the phone waiting for the offer from macnamara to come out of retirement. So many missed opportunities.

I just want to see the Poms be competitive.

Had a quick read of the paper while the wife got coffee. Mentioned that the Eng vs Fiji pool game got 2.2mil viewers while the Eng vs Arg Union game got 510,000 the same weekend. Curious to see what the viewing figures for this game was. Hope it was big, the teams and game deserve it.

Much better than being confined on Sky hearing Eddie and Stevo.

Btw, wonder what those ratings were yesterday? Hopefully they were as strong as those earlier in the tournament

That's good to hear the 2016 tounament will go ahead. Mean that the ARL won't be able to baulk like they did in 2007 and last year. Hopefully it will be expanded to a 5-nations tournament in the future (the Big 3 + winner of Pacific Cup + winner of European Cup).

I do miss the Ashes though (haven't had it since 2003). Hopefully it will be held in 2015.

Goodwin's defense was exposed every time that went to that side. Not many changes necessary- but he is 1 of them for sure.

What's the story with Pritchard?
