Knights only just beat the roosters a couple of weeks ago, we are one of the in form teams in the comp arm. And the refs were not against the warriors. There were a couple of strip penalties against the knights that weren't penalties, also the warriors threw half a dozen blatant forward passes that did not get pulled up.

Most blatant penalty of all time on that last tackle by Gidley. Just barely manages to bring him down by the bootlaces.... then holds on while standing up and turns him completely upside down until the clock runs out.

Refs are weak as piss

That was shocking. Of course the ref with the shoe polish in his hair wouldn't give the Warriors a penalty.

Knights played well no doubt - but what a free ride today.

There needs to be an investigation.

The scrum should have been re-packed IMO. Nobody's fault so not a penalty, but the Knights shouldn't have been gifted a try by the ref getting in the way.
Knights shouldn't be denied a try because Johnson runs directly into the referee who didn't budge an inch.

It was Johnson who f**ked up there. Not the referee or the Knights.

People just don't like it when they lose to much lower placed teams, and hence blame the refs for the match - even though there are a thousand howlers in every match, every week. Forget the fact that the Knights absolutely shredded the Warriors up the middle, forget the fact that we had a tonne of calls against us as well - they'll only see the ones we got.

There's no shame in losing to us at the moment. We're playing with a lot of heart and are now 6/8 in the past 2 months. The Warriors can turn it around for the Roosters match, they can be better than they were today - but REALLY need to muscle up in the middle.

You can't blame the ref for that try, johnson makes no effort to go around him and two other defenders were beaten.

Honestly, the ref beating and hysteria has gotten out of control, I'm sick of reading after every game how some minor and usually correct decision is blamed for a team losing.

 at all the delusional bitching about the refs favouring the Knights. Little mention of the forward pass leading to the Warrior's last try and the Manu "strip" penalty.

Eat shit, I hope we ruined your season. Sadly the teams in 10 - 12th aren't exactly rampaging into the top 8.

That's the best finish of the day because not only was it a huge effort to stay in at the last moment (like with the other tries), but he was in no way entitled to get close in the first place

No way entitled? He was up against Gagai wasn't he? He was more than entitled, I'm surprised Gagai held him up as much as he did. I was expecting a repeat of the earlier try.

This ref blaming is hilarious. Seriously. The game was officiated quite fairly. Both sides had equally shit calls.

 Said every fan who ever won a football game

FWIW i didnt think the officials cost anyone today's game, the calls seemed to even out, but it always makes me laugh to hear fans who a week ago, would be complaining about how referee's were shit in a loss, turn around the following week after a win and say "oh they were fine this week"

Bullshit, the officiating is a total and utter disgrace. It's a lottery every week, every team cops it, some more than others, just because you won it this week, doesnt mean anything other than you won it this week.

It cant just be that the weeks you lose the refs were shit and the weeks you win they suddenly had a good game

I'll echo the sentiments of the winger appreciation too. Jesus, they are f**king awesome at getting it down in exceptional circumstances.

Newcastle are a f**king charity case at this point. I'm sick of this "Inspirational Win" shit that gets trotted out every week when the refs do their absolute best to get them home.

Sour grapes? You bet your ass. I'm just as happy as Melbourne and their fans were last week.

We're still in the 8 you muppet so hardly season ruined.

Pity your team couldn't put in when it counted like when playing for their fallen comrade not just when playing for contracts?

Looks like I chose a good day to take the extra shift at work.

Warriors have a lot of talent but they're still lacking a couple of extra pieces to be a consistent team. Extra experience on the youngsters will improve them in the long haul.

Won't comment on the refs seeing as I haven't seen the game, but meh, I it's always their fault

Have a feeling the Warriors will still scrape into 7th or 8th and considering we started the season with Elliott as our coach and a 2-5 record I wouldn't complain about it.
