The distinction I was making was pretty obvious

Of course but errors and penalties are related in Rugby League.

You make errors and it forces you to tackle more. Averages would suggest you give away more penalties the more you don't have the ball. Then you start getting fatigued from all the extra tackling which means decision making goes down, attempting to slow the play the ball to maintain parity and all of a sudden your errors are compounded and you also give penalties.

Add to that the Sharks have simply ran and tackled harder thus far only makes it worse.

More or less.

This is so obviously a Matt Elliott coached side. Panthers always struggled to get up for the easier games under him. Playing down to or below the levelof the opposition.this Warriors team could beat any side when they are focused and in form. Just seems a rare occurence.

I get that. But I just don't think that the majority of those first half penalties were justified.

Nothing to do with Elliot. Historically we lose when we should win and vice versa.

Every time I look over, the Sharks have the ball. Warriors fans should be filthy at this performance.

I would be if it wasn't largely what I expected.

Warriors are expected to win = no effort and loss.

Warriors not expected to win = effort and good chance of a win

They're a bunch of mentally weak divas and it's showing today. Things don't go their way and they pack it in.
