It's a little surprising that there have been no real surprises (other than injuries, which were predictable, just not whom- well Carney and Coote would have been at the top of most lists, but still injuries are a bit unpredictable). Most people would have had Broncos, Warriors, Sharks and Cowboys as favourites (with Penrith and Knights also, who made top 8) just because they sent pretty decent squads.

Also, Canberra, Bulldogs, Manly, Storm and Roosters sent pretty bad squads and got the results you'd expect. Dragons and Tigers just don't have the cattle. Nothing too surprising so far.

Warriors looked a little vulnerable against Souths, defense is starting to rule games more, anyone think Warriors should not be favourites? Still favourites for mine, but all 4 teams in with a good shot.
