FMD. Soward has been fine so far. Not setting the game alight, but showed some promise atleast. In such a short game halves are trying far riskier plays then they will in an 80 minute game where patience and field position are more crucial.
Soward has shown more creativity in the bit less then 80 minutes of this competition (4 games at 18 mins, not playing all minutes) then Walsh did in the average game as a Panther. He's also only just starting his career at Penrith and has had nowhere near enough time to build combinations. Even half the 9s team wont be near first grade.
Soward will lead Panthers to the top 8. Wont win the comp, but he won't be the dud people here are claiming him to be either.
