Man of the match - Hayne

Almost man of the match for Qld - Shane Hayne in a disgraceful last 20 minutes, can't believe he tried that obviously to keep the Qldrs in the game

Congrats NSW. Incredible second half defensive performance.
You guys beat QLD and the refs.
Seriously refs, we don't need the leg up.

Bring on game 2, it's going to be awesome. I have a feeling, based on this game, it's the end of an era. But we'll see what we've got left.

Gallen "they had a few injuries so did we"

no Paul, we had one huge significant injury where he was unable to return to the game after 10-20 minutes, you guys had niggles where all players remained on the park

Well done NSW. Gee that was a poorly reffed game. When NSW were coming off their line there were about 5 flops every tackle but no penalty. thought I was watching Yawnion!

Gallen wins, still whinges about the refs. What a f**king loser.

He had every right to complain and if NSW have any brains they should refuse to play any further Origin games with Hayne officiating. He nearly made Gommersal look impartial with some of the decisions he made tonight.

Great victory NSW!

Great victory indeed, overcoming obstacles like incompetent refs who did everything possible to give the game to the Cane Toads!

Inglis, the "best player in the world" was absolutely garbage. Hilarious to watch him do nothing. Clearly he's still butt hurt over not getting the 1.

f**king brilliant work from the Blues. Don't think there was a bad player out there but that could be the alcohol talking.

Good game bloody heart is almost out of my chest lol must say Slater and Tate are our weak links but Slater will never be dropped as long as he still makes himself available.

Yeah losing Cronk and having to bring on DCE is such a pain.
