Clydsdale should be ready next week, Mamo is more than capable of filling in for Boyd, Minto can replace Roberts if needed and we play the Raiders.

If we can't beat them, even without Boyd or Mullen, then I'll be quite disgusted.

Prepare to be disgusted.

Id say it'd be karma for skeepe if a good canberra player got injured, but that would involve them actually having a decent player and lowering myself to the level of scum

Well, 2 positives:

1. Everything bad that could have happened did x10. Can only go up from here.

2. Dobson did well (he at least managed to stay on the field) which we needed if Mullo, Roberts, Boyd and Gids are potentially all out.

Mansour is an absolute freak, lol@ any team that would let him go

Scary thing is we had about 4 more forward passes not called

Disappointing for both.

The Knights were (and to be fair, still are) a tighter-knit team.

We were sprawling, and relied on moments of individual capability (brilliance feels like too strong a word) to score points. Individuality needs to be reconciled with teamwork before we get carried away.

Congratulations, boys (Especially Yeo and Wallace) for a strong performance. We have work to do, but I have confidence we can do it.

Could have sworn Moylan was out when he tapped that potential 40/20 back in... not that it would have made much of a difference  Will have to watch that one again on the replay.

Can Dobson survive until full time?

Feel sorry for the Knights, you know you're f**ked when Waddell is last man standing.

You know you're f**ked when Waddle isn't your worst player on ground.

Good win by the Panthers in the end. Mansour had a great second half, and Yeo had a good debut. I've still got some big questions regarding both Soward and Wallace's ability to create a try scoring play in the oppositions 20 though. Time will tell i guess.

Knights were f**king unlucky with injuries, but they really hurt themselves in the first half with all the errors.

It was very close, but he had not yet stepped into touch when he tapped the ball back in.

A nice practice game to dust off the cobwebs and fine tune our structures.

Blaming the injuries would be considered not just an insult to the Panthers who worked bluddy hard for this win,but also insulting for the Newcastle team after the effort that their subs put on in place of those that where replaced.

We were down to 14 and our only spine player left standing was Michael f'ing Dobson. Of course the injuries played a huge part.

And I'm sure our newest hooker Adam Cuthbertson wouldn't be offended by that suggestion.....

lol, fair go... how would you feel if Soward was injured for 3 months in pre-season, then first game of the year Wallace, Moylan and Kingston or Segs all went down in a period of about 30 minutes? As Rod said, it was like watching a train wreck in super slow motion for us Knights fans... especially so after losing Mullen to start the year. The pre-season was one full of promise for us in how we capped off last year... and now we've had the opportunity to start this season well completely stripped from us by injury.

Credit to the Panthers for holding onto the ball - but we were absolutely tragic, and it only got worse the more injuries we sustained. To be hoenst, I think our team deserves to be insulted after that performance. They should be filthy on themselves.

Does anyone know why Tim Grant didn't play yesterday?

Or if he did (cos I only caught the last 10 minutes) why did he score 0 in super coach?
