It is entirely characteristic of the Warriors though that we lose the games that we ought to win and win the games that we ought to lose. It's what makes the Warriors such a terrible difficult team to support

Wow. Never saw this coming albeit I had Warriors 1-12 sighting their inability to travel as well as their fitness the biggest concerns. Parramatta blew the NZ team off the park and Shaun Johnson, the guy I criticized for being a bit of a myth in the off-season, disappeared when things got tough. That is my biggest knock on Johnson (that and he doesn't have the clutch gene when his team needs him to deliver).

There were no bad players for the Eels. NSW should be excited by what they saw from Hayne; that was 2009 Jarryd Hayne who was untouchable that season. Brad Arthur has done a good job though it's early days. I liked the look of the Eels though sensible Eels fans will know to temper their enthusiasm for the moment

Hayne did pretty well nothing in the game....

He had like 1 good run, and a couple of nice passes. He wasn't uninvolved - but, by his personal standards, that game was like a 5/10. He has a LOT more in the tank.

Same thing happened yesterday and will prob continue for the rest of the year.

And Brett Stewart based on his second 40 showed why he has played in one SOO series post 2008. Imagine how many games he'd miss if he didn't have his brother there to look after him.

The Roosters missed the finals three years out of the last five, including a wooden spoon. The Dragons are hardly shit - they were minor premiers in 2009-10 and premiers in 2010. Prior to the last two years they hadn't missed the finals since 2007, which was the last time they finished below the Warriors.

Same thing happened yesterday and will prob continue for the rest of the year.

Who you calling a shit team? Only eight of the guys who played for us yesterday played more than 10 games last year, and only four of them played more than 20.

Round 1 is the start of a whole new competition. We won't know until later in the year if you lost to an inferior team yesterday.
