What are you on about? Nobody's heard of half of your players. Strengths are a couple of big props, Johnson, Vatuvei and Mateo. Weaknesses are Johnson, Vatuvei and Mateo. Tomkins is still an unknown at this level. I'm tipping he'll carve up out near the centres, but fullback play in the NRL is about more than just lurking a couple of passes wide.

We have a few strengths too, but our only real weakness is inexperience out wide (Hopoate, Mau, Toutai, Radradra). Tonga and Smith will look after them. And they're all big strong boys.

Awful trolling attempt my friend.

1. Jarryd Hayne vs Sam Tomkins - Tomkins unproven at NRL level. 9's don't count.
2. Semi Radradra vs Manu Vatuvei - Radradra is in for a huge year imo. This is a close one but Manu's errors leave him in 2nd place in a two man race.
3. William Hopoate vs Carlos Tuimavave - goes without saying
4. Willie Tonga vs Dane Nielson - agreed
5. Vai Toutai vs Glen Fisiiahi - agreed
6. Corey Norman vs Chad Townsend - Corey Norman is clearly the better player. This isn't even a contest.
7. Luke Kelly vs Shaun Johnson - agreed
8. Tim Mannah vs Sam Rapira - agreed
9. Nathan Peats vs Nathan Friend - agreed
10. Fuifui Moimoi vs Ben Matulino - - agreed
11. Ben Smith vs Jason Bukuya - agreed
12. Manu Ma'u vs Simon Mannering - agreed
13. Kenny Edwards vs John Palavi - - agreed

14. Junior Paulo vs Jacob Lillyman - agreed
15. Peni Terepo vs Suaia Matagi - Terepo like Radradra is another ready for a breakout season.
16. Kelepi Tanginoa vs Sione Lousi - agreed
17. David Gower vs Feleti Mateo - agreed

But that doesn't tell the whole story anyway. So much of success in this competition is about team cohesion. I think we will gel better than the Warriors in Round 1.

So would you say Tomkins has been tested at test level ? I remember him ripping Aussie a new one in a couple of test matches --- Agree ?

You watched Manu Vatuvei last season correct ? HE was on fire, far less mistakes and with added speed and try scoring exploits, its insulting to rate Radrada even remotely on oar with him.

Corey Norman ....... Are we talking about the same Corey Norman who played at the Broncos ?? ....... Really ? >>>> Cant be >>>>> Seriously ........ Why do you rate him again ?

Parra have a good enough backline to match it with the Worriers, who have it over the Eels in the forwards.
Expect this to be close, going the home side in an upset by 4.

Love your work Iron. Would be better if you actually had the correct Eels team before you started comparing.

14 is Joseph Paulo, not Jnr.
17 Darcy Lussick is playing (in the #16), not David Gower. Tanginoa will wear the #17.

IMO opinion, in a combined side, the Eels would make up 4 of the 7 backline spots, but the warriors would probably take 6 of the 10 forward spots.

Don't know you, don't want to know you, don't care to know you.

Was such a peaceful thread with decent banter before you turned up.

Your the one sounding me out, I came to talk league that's it, not put up with your or others insults. so if you give it, I give it back right.

Seems some people here cant handle people putting it on the line and making predicitions.

I said Warriors are a top 4 side and will win by 20 - 26pts and I get called an idiot fan by a supposed warriors fan. And now you outing your knife in to bro. Think about it

Mate, I'm as much of a fan of Parra as anyone, but there's no way you can put Radradra above Vatuvai at this stage. Semi just hasn't shown enough just yet to warrant it, and The Beast has played for his country. At the end of the year it may be a different story though.

Also we have lesser known quantities in Tanginoa, Edwards and Terepo plus a completely unknown quantity in Ma'u who may be stars come the end of August. It's easy to say the Warriors have a good team, but ours could go either way.

Think about what? Within a day of you posting mods need to delete posts and put a public warning up about getting personal, especially into regards to family.

Whether shiznit should have called you an idiot or not to your overconfidence is one thing, but your reaction and responses were both childish, abusive, and weren't even on topic.

Maybe you should have a think about why people would poke fun at you after that (and to be fair I poke fun at everyone given the opportunity so it's not like you're in an exclusive club here)

I watch the Warriors week in, week out. I have done since their debut when we came back from 22-0 in their first ever game (check the score, it may have been 20-0 though it was Allan Langer magic that night). I look forward to this game and their season as they are on the cusp of something special over the next few seasons. Their prodigious U20 talent continues to come through and the NZ Warriors will soon be a force in the NRL.

I look forward to the debut of Tomkins, the guy is a special player not matter his pedigree coming from the Super League. Johnson is close to making the step to the next level of playmaker and his development this season is something I am most keen on viewing. I think he can do what Benji Marshall did though go past him as a rugby league player in time.

I think this will be a close game. The Eels showed their ability to get up for round one last season with a new coach and I suspect they will do the same here only to be pipped by the more talented Warriors team. I take the Warriors 1-12 in what should be an exciting game. That said, the come from behind wins have shown that it is the 'survival of the fittest' in 2014 so that may weigh in the Eels favour as the Warriors traditionally run out of steam.

This could be a better than expected game.
