Why would a winger be taught to pass

Don't watch many Panthers game, hey?

How many times does Mansour run in-field crabwise with no intention of passing the ball?

According to your statement every winger should just take the tackle regardless of the opportunities around them.

I've been trying to find a picture of the original "plane" doing his thing. I just found this Big League from the 90s.

That would have been from 1999. Jorgo played the first 6 matches before sustaining a season ending injury - by then he had already racked up 10 tries.

My goodness - that zebra roadkill strip was just utter shit.

Congrats on the win Penrith but a very unlikeable team with 3 small man syndrome players in Wallace,Soward and Segayaro

Panthers for the unlikeable spoon
I think we can live with that
and thanks for the sincere congratulations cupcake.

f**k the Eels are a shit side without Hayne.

As for Penriff, you guys are a slightly above average team who have been getting some serious rub of the green with the draw. You won't stay in the top 4 for long.

What do you mean? We haven't even got to play Brisbane yet, so our draw can't be that easy.

Penrith absolutely the real deal this year. Solid across the park and with good depth.

Genuine contenders.

Thank you.

Good game, Eels. Too bad the Panthers built a big enough lead to overcome the second half fight back from the Eels.

Hope you guys enjoyed the beers, steak and seafood at the leagues club after the match.

Depth is outstanding at the moment. Hot favourites to win the NSW CUP. These players are applying a lot of pressure to the top team.

The Panthers beat a Top 4 side last night. They've beaten two of the three Top 4 sides apart from themselves, and haven't played Manly yet.

Next time Penrith play a side in the top 8 ( as of the start of this round) will be Round 18. Broncos at Penrith. Broncos probably won't be in the 8 by then, post origin slump and all. You see, Meninga and Daley don't rate us either.

Panthers fans....you should be thanking the dragons for your success. Jamie soward was an awesome buy and probably the reason my team is sucking so hard now...coaches aside...

Not just the Dragons and Soward, but the Broncos with Wallace as well. The Penrith club was something of a laughing stock for signing this pair who were universally regarded as being on the scrapheap, but guess what- they are among the most effective halves combinations going around and are pulling together a rag-tag team into a more than cohesive unit. Phil Gould might be a lot of things but he is an outstanding judge of cattle.

 Loved the bolded bit. Penrith have a good side this season. It was great seeing Soward back to his usual self. Peachey's nephew looks very good too.
