 Parra should have won by 20, our mistakes and all round derpness kept the Cows in the game. Then we got nervous and tried to throw the game away, anyone who thinks the Cowboys were robbed are kidding themselves. Refs were woeful for both sides.

The better team certainly won on the night and as you said, should have won by more.

Don't really remember too many calls going against the Eels though. Seemed like they got the rub of the green and while the referees didn't cost the Cowboys the game, I thought they were a bit unlucky in the ruck and a few of their lost balls appeared to be knocked out by the Parra player.

The only call I remember going against Parra was JT knocking the ball out but all that would have changed was a scrum becoming a penalty when Eels already had field position and more than likely gone the quick tap regardless.

Missed the not played at call after the cows played at the ball and Semi bombed a try and didn't pass to Tonga. It was ruled last tackle, it was definitely played at and the cows got a penalty straight after. We did get the rub of the green tonight but the the cows were lucky to be only down by 12 after we bombed a shitload of chances. Cows did win the penalty count, think we have only won one all season.

We were shocking tonight and still came within 2 points. We didnt deserve to win, but we still could have anyway if not for some more refereeing f**k ups. Two tries scored from forward passes (ok, it can be hard for the on field referee to get them right all the time) and then a fair one disallowed for us by the video ref who has the benefit replays and various angles. That should be a case of an ugly win, but instead its just another away loss to add to the tally of robberies.
Thanks JT, it was another NSW conspiracy, we lost another penalty count tonight but yes the refs robbed your mob again. Both sides sucked. We did score 4 tries to 3 as well and bombed plenty of other chances. we should have put you way but managed to derp it up the last 30 mins. I'll take the win but it was hardly comprehensive.

I did too, cheers.

That was an interesting call actually.

At first, it appeared a Cowboys player got a hand to it.

But on replay it appeared a Parramatta player just toed it ahead and it ended up with the Eels. Now, it may have touched a Cowboys player but I don't know if it came off his hand or not and as such whether that constitutes as played at.

Tough call either way but you're right it did go the Cowboys way at the end but I wouldn't call it a bad call.

Cheers i will check out the replay tomorrow, thought it was definitely played at could be wrong. Not saying the cowboys weren't unlucky because they were just thought it was funny reading through the thread and laughed at the Cowboys were robbed calls. Thought we were easily the better side just our own mistakes and inability to finish off the opposition kept the cows in the game. Once again Goal kicking also hurting us.

While people are whinging about forward passes, how about the two or three forward passes to Tampon (NB: that is not a typo) in the first half?

f**king hate Tampon. How he plays for NSW I'll never understand...

We should have won by at least 20.. How many tried did we stuff up.. Sandow kicks all his goals we are up 24-6 no fight back would have been possible..

doesnt explain the dropped ball and wrong 5th tackle options away from home.

Yeah it does. Opposing teams are able to put them under a lot more pressure away from Townsville.

Did you see Parra play up there a couple of weeks ago? If you thought the Eels were bad tonight they had nothing up in Thuringowa.

It's clear that they can't play until the game/season is on the line

They do play good desperation footy, but I think their biggest issue is the massive change in momentum when Scott and Tamou both leave the field. Obviously there's a huge boost when they both come back on but it must be jarring for their team mates to have to play under such wildly different ruck conditions through a game.

My god that was like watching a porn video with your your sister starring in it..........

We are woeful, f**k the refs influence on the game, we should be good enough to take them out of the equation (I don't think they were that bad). I can see a massive cleanout coming to that club, just not sure who they would sign. Brent Tate shits me to tears, there's being competitive and there's being a bone headed ball hog merkin on the last and unfortunately he was the latter last night.

Was honestly surprised to see the Cowboys sign Tate up for another season. He's been one of your better players in recent times but it's clear that his career is winding down and the Cowboys should be looking at alternative options.

With that said, I don't think Tate would be in the first five players I'd get rid of at the Cowboys.

That $2 price for the Eels was the easiest money you can make at the TAB. They should have won by 30.

The Cowboys are like the Indian cricket team. People continually think they'll turn around their woeful away record because of the supposed talent in the squad.

But alas......it never happens.
