Docker is very average and shouldn't be in our 17
Docker prior to injury was a beast. Brutal defender and solid ball runner. Given how last nights game went, Docker prior to injury would have been an asset. Likewise with Simmons... I was expecting a big game from Naiqama and for his pace to be an asset. But the game just never shaped up that way and he made 4 errors when Simmons would have never made that many.

He's not a solid ball runner. And our defensive performance without him was absolutely fine. I don't know who you can say with a straight face that we were just as weakened as St George because Docker and Simmons were out.

We played like crap and still won. I couldn't care less how St George fans feel about their teams performance.

With Simmons out, his first replacement is suspended and the eventual replacement comes in and makes 4 errors. I'm not a massive Simmons fans, but he's atleast safe and reliable. Which makes him a huge loss when he replacement is a massive liability. This change alone likely takes off a mountain of pressure for the team and makes it an easy win. No guarantee ofcourse, he could have been worse and lost us the game. But I can't imagine that being possible.

None of our forwards last night were busting tackles or doing anything that Docker couldn't. Peachey went from 200+ metres the past 2 weeks to making only 64 metres off 7 runs. Manu and Kite were our only 2 forwards to make over 100 metres. Segeyaro gave away 3 penalties. It was a game where the safer players would have looked boring but made the game a far more comfortable win.

Docker drops the ball as much as anyone in our forward pack. He was not missed in anyway last night. Simmons was missed because Naiqama had a shocker.

Kevin just continues to deliver as the most disappointing buy of the year. Has had a couple of nearly solid games, but never come close to the player he was at the Knights. Does well for our reserve grade side, but still fails to even excel for them. He's dropping down the pecking order with every performance IMO. After last night I would have Blake and Nabouli ahead of him, ontop of Simmons and DWZ obviously. And George Jennings when fit.

I don't see a career for him at the Panthers. He's not worth sticking with when we have other options who are just as talented if not moreso and he fails to impress in every game.

I thought Naiqama did ok for someone who only came in within the last 48 hours before the game. I'm sure he will be selected for the next game.

Docker is being rested.

Even if our attack does not deliver, our defense does.

People are missing a point that Marshall has been with this side for a few weeks now and is clearly this difference between the Dragons of a few weeks ago and last night.

St George pushed us hard last night, and credit to them as they will reap some rewards as the season progresses especially when they will be at full strength.
