Gee this whole sometimes the VR can intervene sometimes they can't is a pain in the arse.
Just f**k it off altogether or get them to make a call at anytime.

This is getting stupid.

It's ridiculous that players can just stand around waiting for a replay on the big screen while the ref tells them to hurry up and take the drop out.

Sure the correct decision was reached in the end, but there are so many other incorrect calls that are made where the unfairly penalised team doesn't have the luxury of just stalling until a replay is shown.

Agreed.

Isn't there supposed to be a time limit on drop outs aswell

It's a fcking joke isn't it..

The replay was shown 3 times before the scrum last night of the nofo 'no try' yet they let it go without correcting it

Yet they change the decision then, it makes absolutely no sense

Agreed. They can't pick and choose when they check the video on those 50/50 calls. Complete amateurs

The best solution is just to introduce the captain's challenge and accept the fact that referees make mistakes sometimes.

I think everyone would be happy with that. Puts the emphasis back on the teams and takes the inconsistencies away.

They definitely need the captains challenge and can the replay on situations like that unless it is challenged. So you don't just have delaying tactics until the replay shows what happened
