Saw the second half late, another ridiculous performance from the Warriors.

I noted a lot of Kevin Locke hate again here, but despite whatever off field issues he very rarely had a bad game on the field and was at least safe under the high ball and marked up on defence properly.

I hope Tomkins comes right but right now he is all over the show as an NRL fullback, and this is the Eels and Dragons making him look pretty average here.

Locke was not safe under the high ball. He's good for a drop a game and that's if he doesn't let it bounce. We haven't had a reliable bomb taking fullback probably since McKinnon pre injury.

For the record I don't hate Locke I just think he's not he player he should be or people think he is, mainly due to the way we "develop" players.

We seem to continually produce players who are gifted in one or two areas but lack the all round game to really make a difference in a consistent basis. It's both frustrating and sad.

Pleasantly surprised to be 2 and 0. I would have predicted 0 and 2 pre-season. Coming off two shit years, being notorious slow starters, and with a shit coach, just couldn't see the start we've had happening.

Mind you, I did think the pre-match were a little stiff. 3.50 after the way both teams performed last week was taking the piss.

Tomkins isn't worth the money thus far and seriously needs to improve quickly.

Tomkins is currently not even at 1st grade standard.

The problem is his ceiling is 'slight above average 1st grade NRL fullback'. He's never going to be in the class of Inglis and co. And they've paid him the kind of money where they need him to be that type of player.
