I don't rate Tompkins, but even I can see he is going to be an attacking weapon over here. His defence is poor, but so was Darren lockyer's and look what he managed.

I think this dragons team is pretty decent, the warriors threw plenty at them and they defended brilliantly. The warriors also showed enough to show to me that when all their passes stick, they'll be bloody hard to beat. As always with that style of footy though, it's never going to be consistent.

My final thoughts....thanks sportingbet for those ridiculous odds.

I only saw the last 23 minutes or so, the warriors attack was beyond pedestrian. Townsend is the worst half in the nrl...at least braith can tackle. Then in defence they seemed like they didn't care.

Dragons doing the simple things well and widdop looks better then he ever was at Melbourne. Interested to see how they go against a semi decent team as theyve played two basket cases so far.

Townsend looked far more likely to create something,Johnson's form is a real concern for Warriors fans.
And I would swap Townsend for Braith in a heartbeat,Braith is the worst half in the NRL.

Had no idea this was on so early. Judging by the score, Dragons seem fairly competent in attack this year.

Not really, and that's the frustrating thing. 2 tries from bad Warriors mistakes and a Morris special. If anything the Warriors forwards had it over them but today they couldn't attack their way out of a paper bag.

Scoreline doesn't tell the story. dragons deserve praise for their defense though, regardless of the attack coming their way because they spent a lot of time on their own try line.

He would be on a huge pay packet and he's not shown anything to suggest he's even in the top 5 fullbacks in the NRL

Forget Mythcell Pearce as the epitome of overratedness. Sam Tomkins has taken his mantle.

William Zillman is a 50 times better fullback.

Johnson was poor against the Eels, but he wasn't bad today. Was involved more, showed good energy, and Merrin was the only one who stopped him scoring. How many repeat sets did he force? He did what he could in an attack that hasn't clicked yet.
