There's been some questionable calls, but nothing that has ruined it until now. That play was again absolutely flawlessly executed, but the "crusher" tackle takes the gloss of it a bit.

That was a Reynolds like dive from Keary. And the video ref fell for it, fmd.

Yeah...na. He had 110kg on his neck. That hurts no matter what. And even if he put his head in his position, that is not why the penalty was given. The penalty was given for the extra pressure when they got down onto the ground

yeah that was a crap call...was an accident. Anyway this has been a great game. Well done to Souths and Manly...defiantly the teams to beat.

Most head high tackles are accidents and they're still penalties. I don't think it was intentional by Starling, still a penalty.
