I don't blame anyone for having a whinge if they were in the same situation and the refs weren't following protocols.

True. Can't laugh at Penrith they played well and were unlucky to lose that. Manly needs to lift otherwise they'll go out in straight sets.

Thought Idris grounded the ball in the in goal towards the end. Or was that in the 10m zone? Disappointed for Penrith but eh, it's just a good example of their injury toll impacting their chances. Few guys out there certainly aren't at the standard needed.

The on-field referee did call time off, the dodgy timekeeper just ignored it for 15 seconds though, pretty low act by the timekeeper, was probably too busy high-fiving to notice.
