Needless to say hate losing games at the death bloody Stewart and Lyon those arsey bastards pulled it off to prevent what would have been a great win with 9 First Graders out and playing against the crowd and the referees... It won't be our year whether we make 4th or 5th we won't make the GF with all the bloody injuries but the club has found purpose and is building nicely for coming years.

Great effort from Penrith, but a few bone head plays cost us.

Stating the ovbious in that we really should have put the game away.

Refs really swing the momentum with calls against one team, but the other team doesn't get them. Jason King lifting the knees into Docker, but no issues with that?

Would be interesting to see if Hiku was onside in that last bomb, and interesting if we got a few more pictures on Idris's lost ball! Any one know how his head was injured?

Manly won't win the Premiership. They should have put a comfortable 40 on the Pennies today but they barely scraped the win

Your lot beat the Storm,in which I think they will, and the Panthers have nothing to worry about and will come 4th...if the Warriors,Cowboys and Bulldogs win,Melbourne miss out on the final 8.:D

And this is where it will get very interesting.Fans and experts will be keeping an eagle eye on this game to witness any refereeing which will curry the favour of Melbourne.

If there is a perfect storm for a pre-determined result, this is exactly the right scenario for it.

The Broncos are suddenly good for beating rubbish like the Knights and Dragons? FMD Storm will beat the Drongoes at Aami so we better beat the Warriors to get 4th.

Great game, amazing how much better daytime football is.

Felt for the Panthers, it was another gutsy effort
They looked out on their feet in that last 10 minutes.

Josh Mansour is a dead cert for this weeks Paul Carige award in the other thread.

Can't believe the whingers on here going on about 15 seconds lost. Penrith wasted so much time on all their restarts in the second half. This was just desserts for the choking Gus Gould run merkins. Has Jamie Soward stopped crying yet?

He got smashed in the head, he probably would have been better off getting up when initially flopping on the ball to prevent it though.

Yes , this incident makes the NRL a joke and I cannot understand why the media have stayed away from it.

Idris was on the ground . to complete the tackle only required a HAND from manly.

Idris got smashed , this in itself is not illegal and all coaches would encourage their players to hit hard - there are no rules against it. However the tackle included contact with the Idris's head.As a result Idris was dazed and resulted in him releasing his grip on the ball.

If Idris was on his feet , the hit to the head would have been penalised. Because he was on the ground the dive on his head was ignored . Again only a hand touch was required to complete the tackle.

Sorry , should have been penalised. Penrith were ROBBED.
Hit them hard , whilst they are on the ground , OK , but not the head.
