Should we check that for obstruction since their were other saints players on the field, that's just about were we are with the obstruction rule at this point.

Glad to finish a horror season on a high. Last few months have shown we're a quality side if we can remain consistent and drama free. Ditching Bennett ball is perhaps the best thing the side has done and hopefully it continues next year. Plenty to be excited for next yer.

Wasn't expecting a flogging. What was a pretty pissweak way to finish the season.

Shows how much pride we have in our jersey.

Congrats Knights.

This is an honest question, apart from the Alex McKinnon injury why was it such a horror season for the Knights ? From a non-Knights fan weren't the other problems just players misbehaving in off-field incidents? Wayne Bennett leaving wasn't unexpected & the 2 players suspended for the last few games was when their season was all over.

Did you forget about the Tinkler saga?

- HSG not paying players on time.
- Club uncertainty once Tinkler left, majority of contracts unknown.
- Packer and Tetevano creating a constant media circus.
- Most important player injured for almost half the season.
- Boyd not wanting to play for the club.
- Kurt Gidley playing in positions he can't play because Bennett thought it would work.
- Bennett losing the faith and support of the majority of the team.

And of course the emotional stress the McKinnon incident would have created.

Um...

Alex (really this one on it's own was enough for me to hate this season. It rocked the club to the core and I don't think it's recovered yet).
Main forward signing going to jail in offseason
Tetavano getting sacked after that
Boyd going into rehab for depression
2 best forwards having ASADA hanging over them all year
Lost owner
Lost coach
Players not getting paid
Taken over by NRL
Awful injury run where most rounds there were 7-9 starters unavailable every week and the playmaker was injuried for the first 6 rounds

I wish it was "just players misbehaving". Bennett leaving was apparently also completely unexpected to the players and they took a huge hit by the news - especially after what they'd already gone through this year.

So yeah, It might be hard to see as a neutral...but this year has been hell for Knights fans (save for a few awesome victories at the backend of the year and the unearthing of some great young players). So happy it's over.

Yeah, that's a pretty shit year. The upside is a number of young blokes getting a run and doing ok.
