Gagai outstanding? Ikin has nfi.

Has taken on a lot of work in a side that's lost two blokes for the afternoon. Maybe not as effective as he could have been but 20 odd hit ups is a handy workload given the injuries. Ikin still has NFI though, you are correct.

We have massive problems in attack. Might be time to bring Cornish in.

The Knights looking a lot better with some direction. Congrats on the win.

Great win Newcastle, injured players. Maxwell doing his best to get the home side up but in the end an easy win. Canberra in attack are Milford or bust, and their defence has the finger prints of dean Pay all over it. He is truly clueless.

Man of the Match: Jared Maxwell (Knights)

Responsible for a 20 point differential between the teams (14 for the Knights, prevented 6 for the Raiders) in a game won by 14, without his contributions the Knights don't win.

Special mention to the blind f**king touch judge on the far side who failed to spot a hand on the sideline despite standing right there, which have the Knights another 6 points.

I imagine it must feel pretty hollow for Knights fans to have the officials score 20 of your 26 points for you.

He was excellent in NSW Cup. Problem is who do you drop? Campese is like Gidley, a bloke that is hard to drop because of their place and Wighton has incredible potential.

This line of whinging was rather amusing

I rather thought so. Fancy a side that's down to 15 trying to play the game at their pace? The outrage! If the Raiders were any good they would have controlled the pace and run Newcastle out of it on the back of very favourable refereeing. They weren't.

Yes, but they lost interest with 6 weeks to go. Stuart has only had success at the Roosters. Every other club he has left in a terrible state.

They also lost arguably their best player in Ferguson. Campese has been pretty bad. Like I said I'm not going to defend Stuart because today was a pretty poor showing but Furner (not entirely his fault. Some of it was. Some of it other factors) absolutely gutted the club.

Consider that crop of kids that came through in 08 only croker and fensom kicked on. The raiders for a bunch of reasons are literally back at square one. Is Stuart the right coach. History says no but if he puts a broom through a lot of the deadwood I'll be happy.

Anyways the knights outplayed the raiders. Mullen absolutely put a clinic on with the boot.

Agree with the Cornish call. We even looked better with McCrone in the halves for a few minutes. Ideally, campo back to 6 and told he'll be shot out of a cannon if he doesn't take on the line.

Not really. We're not alone after the ref's Round 2 performance for the Raiduhs. If your mob can feel happy about beating with with a two men in the back pocket back then, then it isn't that hard for us to enjoy this victory!

Have you ever in your life conceded that the other team was just too good on the day?

Our kicking game is shithouse compared to plenty of other teams. Must kill Stuart seeing that given he had on of the best of all time.

You know what? Even if my side legitimately did win solely off the back of the refs against the Raiders, it wouldn't be hollow because of the tears he sheds....

I'd move Wighton to centre for the year but tbh I'm not too fussed if Stuart drops campo. This is realistically a rebuilding year for the raiders. It's why I'd personally move Milford to the bench after round 13 and all hope of keeping him is gone for ahearn.
