That darn mythbusters always proving me wrong. I don't know if any of you guys watch the TV show justified (you all should its really good) but there is this really tense scene that ends with this dialogue

Raylan: The S.S. Quarles is going under. You best swim like hell to get clear or the whirlpool will take you down with it.

Wynn: I believe they disproved that on Mythbusters.
