Definitely the better team lost, but its certainly not the first time this year that's happened.

Teams like Manly and the Dogs make a habit of winning ugly.

To the Eels fans blowing up about the obstruction rule, it was a 50/50 call which didn't go your way.

There was a forward pass in the lead up to the last try that did go your way.

You win some, you lose some.

The Tiges did well to just keep hanging on.

They were down 2 of their real quality attacking players (no slight on the rest of them), and still ground out a win. Took the slim chances that were presented - well done.

The whole game it felt like an Eels win was inevitable, they just shot themselves in the foot one time too many to recover.

Quite an experience there yesterday, not a classic game but a thrilling finish and with 5 or 6 lead changes everyone had their moments several times

Terrific atmoshphere, good natured great crowd, only saw one minor blue between two women at the crowd at the station afterwards, a few wild swings amounting to nothing
