I'm actually not surprised at the result, I think Brisbane have been playing better than people have been giving them credit for.
The weak areas have been their kicking game, which was improved tonight, and their handling of bombs, which also improved.
The big changes from last year have been their fitness, commitment in defence, second phase play and McCullough being able to play more game time.
I can see Brisbane being a top 8 side this year quite comfortably. The only change I would make to them would be to shift Hoffman out of the halves, hell maybe Granville could take a shot at it?
