An indication of the strength of the Chargers' squad is that Ryan James can't make the 17. Their pack is skillful and mobile and their backs are lightening quick. Given our woeful performance last week and our poor run against the Coast I can only see this being a flogging.

I like potter and have defended him for a while but he needs to make the tough call on anasta. he offers less then nothing.

Simona was supposed to be back in round one, now not selected for round two and what's the bet he won't be available next week either?

How f**king hard is it to stop underestimating injury return dates? Sick of it.

I still think we can win. Our bench looks good. We have some flyers in the backs. Woods, Farah and Brooks shouldn't play as poorly as they did last week.

I hope we improve markedly...but I have doubts.

I recall floggings in the past were weve "bounced" back...somewhat...we do that a lot, need a good arse kicking to get our blokes motivated.

Glad its interstate...good excuse to stay home

Team as expected. Despair could begin to set in after ths weekend. Really need to see something this weekend before Bunnies week after.

When Fulton went off last week things up the middle went to pieces. Hopefully the middle can tighten up this week. The Titans have speed and plenty of quality players. Could be messy if they don't control the ruck

Simona is going through protocols.

He is in almost full contact training. He may be a chance in one of the grades this week.

In the WT website interview potter makes reference to Austin tearing it up in VB cup and putting pressure on.

Potters career is on the line here, he"ll drop some of the bigger names if they underperform. This isn't the Tom shines days

If Galloway and nofo are fit they'll come straight in. I'd guess for koro and Ava.

Potter said Fulton and bodene are in doubt. No idea what happens to the backrow if that's true...Blair and Paterson out wide with sue starting at lock I'd guess

Im going to put an enormous bet on the Gold Coast to win. The loss of $ from Tigers winning would be completely outweighed by my delight that we are actually a FG team this year.

I really really hate to be negative but if we can't win against GC we can expect a massive losing streak...I now understand what they meant about how hard a draw we have.

Looks like we are going to drop 3 in a row with the Bunnies next week, realistically we are two men down each week with our present 6 &13 in the team ,they need to go for us to have any chance of winning a game.

Defence last week was pathetic and the forward pack will have to improve dramatically. I think it's too easy to use the excuse that Fulton went off injured. The others still have arms to tackle with, legs to chase and bodies to put on the line. All of that was absent.

Certainly Brooks will continue to be a target and he needs a bit of protection, he didn't get it, either from the forwards or useless Anasta.

The squad has to be on its last chance before changes are made to the under performers.

I can see an improved performance but losing in a close game, and then another lose to the bunnys. We had the perfect opportunity to start the year of on a high winning against a mediocre team but now we will more then likely be zero from 3 with the team and coach under all sorts of unnecessary pressure which will only add more disharmony within the club :( .

the squad is ok.

I'd drop Bojangles and Anasta though, I don't care who replaces them but they'd be better.

Nofoaluma going for the journey suggests Koro will be dropped

Galloway I'd like to see come into the side for Bojangles.

Shift Taupau to the backrow and Galloway to prop, hopefully should see our pack be a bit more mobile.

We cannot persist with Blair at Lock, especially when we seem to be trying to squeeze Fulton, Thompson, Paterson and Sue into the 17

OK so Blair to five-eight, Lawrence to lock, Nofoaluma to centre, Anastasia to the car park .... ughhh huh nah that doesn't work, how about Lawrence to five-eight, Thompson to left centre, Anastasia to lock and Blair to the car park ... Oh bugger it, how bout we all hide in the car park and hope the Titans don't notice we haven't turned up ? If we get off the bus, I think ... WE 'RE ROOTED.

Ditto next week
