Lulia was quiet. Paterson outperformed him when he shifted to centre.

Hope Rowdy hasn't done any serious damage

I thought Lulia was terrible,he offers little impact, the sooner he gets bumped from the side the better. Is it possible that Lulia is worse than Blair and Anasta ?

Lawrence might be out for a bit.
I'm a little tired of his persistent injuries.

We didnt seem to miss him when he went of .. im in 2 minds about him , 100% fit yes , if he isn't well give me a player like Hinchcox from state cup who is fit .

Patersons defence on the left helping brooks out was awesome, he had a fantastic game. He showed aggression to giving it to Greg bird after a good hit.

Agree with Gronk, sue and Ava were great. Sue is a beast and I was glad Ava got some more games time. His hit ups are fantastic

We have some genuine forward depth this year. Our forward rotation was devastating today.
Taupau is the real deal.

Still missing Siro, BMM and Fulton plus Buchanan and Halatau.

Seumanufagai reminds me a bit of Civoniceva. Just no nonsense, tuck it under the arm and barge at the defense and get over the advantage line. I can see him getting signed by another club and turning into the centre of their prop rotation.

For a complete nuftie who shouldnt be in firsts Lulia was good today against terrible opposition. Did nothing wrong, made his tackles and ran strongly. Will be stoked if he gives us another game lke that regularly.

He is not first choice but the guy made 100+ metres with the ball today and defended pretty well.

Combinations and confidence in those around them are what is needed and that is why not many changes other then forced changes are made early in seasons

The most telling of stats is Missed tackles

vs Dragons - we had 43
vs Titans - we had 7

To me the defence today was what needed to improve and given the conditions, our defence was possibly the best I've seen it in a number of years.

A teams attack will always have more confidence if its defence is solid.

It took a stray pass to give Titans essrntially half their points today. That speaks volumes.

I've been told Melbourne are trying to sign him for next year.

If we can show the same defence we showed today, there is no reason we cant beat souths. The way we muscled up with Galloway, Woods and Tupau all on the field at the same time was epic.

Lawrence looked to be playing well untill he did his hamstring. Simona will most likely replace him and with Fulton coming back we are getting closer to full strength again :)

Probably the best thing I saw yesterday in terms of attitude was Nofa & Gavet giving everything they had to chase and stop Kelly even being up by a large margin.

That attitude is infectious and goes a long way in the game
