raiders beat the storm 20-12 tonight too.
Cornish looked good at half, Wighton looked a natural 5/8th and McCrone was impressive at hooker. Those would be the 3 main take aways

other news is that Ahearn and Brenko Lee had strong games and looked the part along side FGers. Lots of big guns missing from both sides, so not much to take away other than individual performances

Very impressed by the Goannas giving the Knights a decent run for so long. Were in it untilhalf time with a team that had no right to be. Great effort. But in the end the professional athlete team was just far too good as you would expect.

Cowboys too big and strong all-round for the Broncos who showed some positive signs in offence but crumbled when it came to defence. Meanwhile, Cows held resolute.

Story of the night is that Jordan Kahu suffered another serious injury and had to be assisted from the field. The guy has no luck and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Broncos ended up playing 26 players - Paki was revealed as the 22nd player after Maranta was ruled out due to a hamstring complaint. The other four consisted of NYC players, among them, Australian Schoolboy Five Eigth Jayden Nikorima who scored the last try for the Broncos.

Yeah it was good of them to stream the match.

Only got to see bits of it but good to have a win. Neither side fielding strong line-ups but there were some promising displays from our young guys, particularly Jack Ahearn and Mitch Cornish. McCrone looked good at hooker.
