benji's pass was forward, it doesn't float forward when you're running sideways/backwards and the pass was caught in front of where it was thrown.

Play is only dead if the ball is secured or the other team knocks on. Multiple knock ons by one team don't make the play dead. If the ball is still loose, the defending team is entitled to pick it up and play on (or should be).
