Nice bait BM

Three final campaigns in past 4 years and a team with a forward pack who have been there done that. Yeah, not up for this lol
BM is the clown that said his team was outplaying the Bulldogs in every department in the first half of their match-Score at halftime Souffs 0 Dogs 22. Why bother Mate.:lol:

The winner of this game is playing off for the right to lose to Broncos or Cowboys in Week 2

As last night showed, anything can happen.

The winner will get some renewed confidence whilst the loser of the Broncos / Cowboys game will be trembling in their boots of the straight sets elimination.

Spot on there.

Sharks are deserved favourites for tomorrow though.

Are you going to the game?

I am.

& that's a perfect reason for us to lose.

R20, not going to the game but I would be making the long trek if was home (Maitland) - working away, near Gunnedah. Haven't been to a game all year with our crap start to the year / being up here. I was all hyped up to go last week V Manly but got caught up here. Glad I didn't go - was a shameful effort by us, especially opening the door to the top 4 for the purple people wrestlers.

We smashed the Cowboys less than 2 months ago. We have clearly not put in since. Premiership team, guaranteed for the finals. It's tough to get up every week.

But everything that happened until now counts for nothing. Season starts all over again today. Cronulla are IMO the worst team in the 8. We can win if we play like our season depends on it.

That's fair enough reasons.

Enjoy the match!

Both teams will be emotionally charged and looking to make impact early in the game. The Sharks have been in consistent form for the back end of the year and with the likes of Lewis, Gallen and Ennis providing the experience necessary to win games like this I think the Sharks will be better off in this one.

Last nights contest went down to the wire but I think this will have some points scored.

I genuinely don't mind which team wins this game (which is rare for me). Cronulla, Souths, and the Cowboys are the 3 good guys vying to fight the prime evil Storm in 2 weeks time. The other side of the draw everyone should be backing the Roosters because at least they're not the Dogs or Brisbane.

If Souths defence can stay firm they'll be a chance. More dangerous backline and similar strength up front from from the props. Sharks backrow is a lot sharper than Souths at present, and Ennis is better than McInnes (or whoever ends up playing there) and could be the difference. But the Sharks attack is nothing great, even off the back of that forward pack, and if they can withstand the forwards for a bit they're a decent chance of winning I think.

I'd take cronulla's wingers and centres over souths any day. Holmes is a gun and easily has it over Johnston, beale and leutele are playing better then auva'a and Walker and feki is way better than Goodwin. Souths props are hugely out of form while guys like tagatese and heighington are getting their heads down and the job done. Fifita provides an x factors on the bench that souths just don't have. Our only hope is if Inglis has packed his superman cape, and considering how poor the rest of the teams is travelling it may be to much for him to do

Sharks are very ordinary in attack. If we defend competently I am sure that a backline of Inglis-Johnston-Walker-Auvaa has enough points in it to outscore Cronulla.

Pleaseeeee Sharkies get up. Never wanted a team to win so badly that isn't my own

Pathetic as usual from most neutral fans. The mighty green and red army will enjoy your hearts breaking.

.

Unfortunately Goodwin has been letting in as many tries as those 4 score combined
