Yet another slow start. Check my post from days ago where I said there would be a lot of dropped ball. I just didn't predict it would be one side only.

Expect us to peak around round 20 to storm home to 7th or 8th spot.

Looks like the heat is not even a factor, and our bench which I thought would be questionable have all stood up. Pearce is also keeping his brilliant form from last year going too.

Cowboys have played pretty well besides a couple choice mistakes which we punished them for though. If things bounce their way in the 2nd half we are liable to fall asleep for 20 mins of the 2nd half (we didn't play a full 80 mins all last year).

Ferguson looked to be struggling massively with the pace of the game. Not a lot of touches and was sucking in the big ones during the video ref decision where SKD dropped it in goal. Going to be a while before he is dominating any games I feel

How? The roosters are making 70+ meters every set of 6. This Cowboys pack is getting destroyed.

You've got into attacking positions multiple times off your own steam though. Getting attacking chances without relying on penalties IMO is a sign a team is doing ok.

Individual errors are being punished badly, but i don't feel like you've been far off scoring a couple tries.

I'm also speaking as a rooster who knows that regardless of how good we look in one half, we are always a chance of putting in a stinker the next. We haven't really buried a team since 2013 so I don't see the score line blowing out. Cows will score a couple this half and give me a stressful end to the game
