Re: Adam Reynolds. I don't get the whole kicking vs running thing. He puts on as many points with his boot as other halves do with their passing game - it's all 4 points in the end. Who cares how they come. You don't win matches by looking pretty - otherwise Chris Sandow would be an immortal already.

Oh and I don't care much for comparing backlines. It's about creating points - with Luke, Reynolds, Keary, Stewart, Sutton, Walker and Inglis we have plenty.

Souffs are going to be to Brisbane what Ivan Drago was to Apollo Creed in this game

Broncos forward pack better than ours. Now i've heard it all. Maybe some of them are better individually, but i'd take our pack together over any other any day of the week.

Souths fans can say what they want about their team, they won a premiership after all.

But I wouldn't discount the Broncos backline entirely.

Hodges is still one of the better 'footy' players in the competition, Hunt was arguably the form half of the competition last year and wreaked plenty of havoc while Milford is one of the most exciting talents coming through.

I'm surprised that Copley hasn't been mentioned. I thought he was one of the better centres of 2014 and looks like he's really found his spot out-wide. He was the match winner for the Broncos on a few occasions and the only player looking to create anything on others. I'd tell you what, I'd take him before a Bryson Goodwin any day.

I think the comparison certainly suits Souths, any backline that has GI & Walker is going to be tough to beat but the Broncos are going to have their say.
Goodwin is simply holding the spot until some young players like Aaron Gray unseat him in the early rounds

Supposed to push near to 40 degrees during the day in Brisbane on Thursday. Conditions should still be pretty uncomfortable come kick-off time.

I never thought i would say this anytime soon but we have the edge in the forwards just. Going to be an epic forward battle.

This is sadly going to be a boring one sided season opener. Souths 42-12.. Probably one of the worst Bronco's line ups I have ever seen, not even coach handshake will be able to help them and they will get smashed.
